Né il vento che soffia tra le foglie
Né l’usignolo che canta il suo amore
Toccano l’animo come i tuoi dolci accenti
Con le loro mille grazie e i loro amabili vezzi *
Translation:
Neither the wind that blows among the leaves
Nor the nightingale that sings its love
Touches my heart like your sweet tones
With their countless charms and their lovable caresses.
